A special rose, the Nursing Centenary was cultivated to commemorate 100 years of State Registration of Nurses and Midwives.
The rose was cultivated by Mr. Ludwig Taschner and was made available at Ludwig's Roses in Pretoria, South Africa. Nursing RSA Verpleging June 1991, Vol 6 no. 6 page 7.
